Queretaro Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon, Half Marathon & 10K 2016

Querétaro is a charming city that is rich in history and culture, and is a great destination for runners to experience on foot. Querétaro is located in north-central Mexico, about 130 miles northwest of Mexico City. It has a metropolitan area of 1 million residents.

Your choice…Marathon, Half or 10K.  Run through the main avenues in Queretaro and see very important monuments along the way. Every mile will be a band performing rock music.  At the end will be a rock concert.  The race is for Men and Women, 18 and up.    The course has been officially measured and certified by the Mexican Athletics Federation (FMAA) and the International Association of Athletics Federation (IAAF) and Association of International Marathons and Distance Races (AIMS).

The day before the race you can have an afternoon/evening course tour, where you can see the course you will run the next day. The race day, at evening, we will give you the option to transfer you to “Queretaro Plaza” where you can celebrate your race along with Mariachis, food and beverages.  The third day in the morning, you have the option to pick the tour to San Miguel de Allende (it has been honored as the star of Mexican Tourism for 2012 by prestigious Conde Nast Traveler) or Pena de Bernal (magic town with delicious restaurants, craft made products, cable car).  In the afternoon we will have a city sightseeing tour.
